Job Summary:

As a CDL A Driver - Food Delivery Specialist at Core-Mark, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner. You will be the face of our company, building lasting relationships with our customers and ensuring their products arrive at their destination on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Inspect the tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
Deliver and unload products from the trailer to designated customer storage areas.
Perform damage control checks on items, scan, and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy.
Verify delivery of items with customers and obtain proper signatures.

Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
6+ months commercial driving experience in a tractor trailer
Valid CDL-A Must be 21+ years of age
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Pass road test
Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
