Job Overview

Position Title: Packaging Operator

Reports to: Production Manager

Position Summary:

The Packaging Operator is accountable for executing essential tasks within the packaging sector while collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the packaging of all finished products for clients.
  • Follow both computerized and written directives to package items received from the Final Inspection Department.
  • Prepare all requisite documentation, including labels, and incorporate any specific instructions detailed in the work order.
  • Package DMR and Non-Conformance materials from various departments for return shipments to suppliers.
  • Adhere to instructions provided by the supervisor.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Conduct end-of-shift cleanup of the designated area.
  • Perform additional work-related tasks as assigned.

Technical Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Basic computer skills; proficiency in mathematics is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, along with bending and lifting products.
  • Preferred experience of at least 6 months in a Packaging Department.
