Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, and administering injections, as needed.
- Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in their conditions, and taking necessary action to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider, providing exceptional care and support.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
- Adhere to the Core Values of the Company, including teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees, creating a positive work atmosphere.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Its Equivalent
License Requirements
No License Required
