Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including working knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, and administering injections, as needed.
  • Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in their conditions, and taking necessary action to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider, providing exceptional care and support.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Adhere to the Core Values of the Company, including teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
  • Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees, creating a positive work atmosphere.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Experience Requirements and Preferences

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Its Equivalent
