Job Responsibilities
  • Communicate job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.
  • Take responsibility for day-to-day scheduling, counseling, and evaluation reports to local management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations and assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violation documents.
  • Design and deliver driver training and safety courses, training new drivers and retraining those involved in accidents.
  • Liaison between drivers and clients and organization in customer service issues.
  • Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance, as well as compliance in legal, employment, and labor policy matters.
  • Assist Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping.
  • Assist in dispatching, driving, interviewing, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
  • Meet all driver qualifications at location.
  • Obtain a CDL required to operate vehicles at location, maintain that license, and drive route periodically.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
