Position Overview

The Audiovisual Production Specialist plays a crucial role within the Audio-Visual Team, contributing to various operational functions.

The selected candidate will be tasked with supporting the Mission Command Training Program, both domestically and internationally, by delivering expert audio/visual assistance during high-level War Fighter Exercises at Joint, CORP, Division, and Brigade levels. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the Command Information Center to facilitate Video Teleconferences.
  • Providing audiovisual setup for Senior Mentor Conferences and Workshops.
  • Arranging audiovisual support for Training Audience Planning Conferences, Seminar Classes, After Action Reviews (AARs), Combined Arms Rehearsals (CARs), Battle Update Briefs (BUBs), and Media Engagement Events.
  • Producing, executing, and editing still photography, full-motion video products, and other digital training materials for Army training initiatives.
  • Setting up classrooms and conference spaces for training sessions, which involves the movement and arrangement of furniture (chairs, tables, projectors, computers, cables, audio-visual equipment, etc.) as a routine aspect of the role.

Position Requirements

Education: High School Diploma

Clearance: Must possess a valid SECRET security clearance or be able to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

Desired Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and demonstrated experience with video editing software and operating digital video cameras.

Additional Requirements: Must be capable of unaccompanied travel throughout various locations. Candidates should be in good physical condition, able to carry 35 to 40 pounds of equipment across diverse terrains in challenging environments.
