The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and evaluating various technical procedures with precision and accuracy. Utilizing accepted quality control techniques, the Medical Laboratory Technician will work with manual, semi-automated, or automated methodologies and equipment to ensure the highest level of quality in our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and assist in other laboratory activities as requested.
• Demonstrate competency in providing direct care to patients across various age brackets, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Operate equipment correctly and safely, ensuring a secure working environment.
Requirements:
• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Medicine.
• American Society of Clinical Pathologist certification preferred or eligible.
Skills:
• Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
