We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Apprentice to join our team at Lucky Supermarkets in El Cerrito, CA. As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will be responsible for meeting daily production needs and quality standards in meat cutting and preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Process fresh and frozen products
- Package, prepare trays, weigh and label packages
- Rotate product and remove out-of-code date products
- Sanitize work areas in accordance with company standards and health department regulations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 6 months Meat department experience
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Continuous walking, standing, reaching, and bending
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and have fun
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
