Ultrasound Tech/PRN with On Call Hours

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images and reports.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Follow prescribed safety standards and maintain examination rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement and quality control projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Requirements:
  • RDMS or RDCS registration is required for performing general ultrasound and echocardiograms without direct supervision.
  • RVT is required to perform vascular studies without direct supervision.
  • Maintains current BLS certification.
