About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Covenant Children's Hospital. As an integral part of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Work under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or Director
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Course study in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year of hire or National Registered Technologist - Sonography within 1 year of hire or New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License upon hire - if practicing within this state
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience as an Ultrasonographer
