Compensation:

  • Deliver remote educational sessions to enhance the skills of outsourcing staff.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of coding regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients to offer insights on coding and documentation practices.
  • Educate clients on updates to coding policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of coding experience.
  • Experience in specialty coding is essential.
  • High School diploma required; some college education preferred.

Skills Required:
  • Proficient in medical billing systems.
  • Knowledgeable in coding methodologies, including State and Federal Billing Guidelines.
  • Expertise in specialty coding principles, including CPT-4, ICD-10, and HCPCS.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective training programs for staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with physicians and support personnel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant reporting systems.
  • Must possess reliable transportation.
