About the Role:
The Quality Improvement Nurse Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the quality measures and indicators of the community through planning, developing, directing, and evaluating educational and clinical training programs. This role evaluates and develops policies for the community's risk management systems in accordance with regulations to protect residents, staff, and facility from loss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor residents within state licensure regulations; may supervise and direct resident assistants, where allowed by state licensure regulations.
- Assist in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interest of residents.
- Document and review medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards, federal and state regulations, and company policies. Monitor responses to treatment plans.
- Plan and organize quality control programs and activities.
- Oversee the Infection Control Program of the facility.
- Direct and coordinate all in-service educational programs of the facility in accordance with regulations.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's risk management programs and activities. Investigate all allegations of misconduct; notify appropriate personnel and report findings to the Administrator.
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Proficient in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- One year of full-time nursing experience.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Salary and Benefits:
$77,500 per year plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus. Monday-Friday, 1:00 pm-9:30 pm, with on-call every other weekend.
