Respiratory Therapist RRT CRTT PRN - Nights

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
  • Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
  • Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) or State Registered Respiratory Therapist (SRRT) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
