Corporate Counsel for Regulatory Compliance and Business Growth

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our team at Merz Therapeutics. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic legal advice on regulatory compliance, business growth, and intellectual property matters.

Your expertise will enable you to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and provide proactive counsel to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Counseling business units on regulatory compliance, including FDA regulations, anti-kickback statutes, and government pricing.
- Providing guidance on intellectual property issues, including trademark, copyright, and patent matters.
- Supporting the development, manufacturing, promotion, distribution, and sale of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
- Reviewing scientific and medical materials for regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association-approved law school and licensure to practice law in any State.
- A minimum of 10 years of overall legal experience, preferably in a law firm and corporate legal department setting.
- At least 6 years of experience in the legal department of a pharmaceutical or medical device company.
- Prior experience with corporate governance, intellectual property, and business development formalities.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will also have opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.
