Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented individual to join our Asset Protection team as a Asset Protection Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Fostering healthy relationships with staff, vendors, and guests, while demonstrating a superior customer service attitude.
  • Maintaining a professional and presentable appearance at all times that is in compliance with GOAT Group's uniform standards.
  • Assisting in reviewing POST Orders for your assigned facility.
  • Ensuring that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced.
  • Assisting in enforcing the facility-level IIPP Program, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, and the Fire Prevention Program.
  • Assisting with access control compliance, the visitor program, and access card audits.
  • Thoroughly examining and recording logistics carrier information in accordance with CTPAT compliance standards where applicable.
  • Completing opening/closing checklists and communicating findings.
  • Supporting the local management team with any planned and/or special events.
  • Controlling entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy.
  • Conducting thorough package inspections, including jackets/coats anytime employees are exiting the facility (warehouse/retail store).
  • Monitoring all surveillance cameras.
  • Documenting unlawful/suspicious activities.
  • Reviewing CCTV footage to document after-hours building opening/closing procedures.
  • Assisting in the process of evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive at the scene.
  • Being trusted to make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies, requiring good judgment both proactively and reactively.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operations.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • One or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred.
  • Audit and compliance experience preferred.
  • The ability to coach and train team members.
  • The ability to confidently handle personal and/or sensitive information.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The ability to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision.
  • Planned/unplanned overtime may be required.
  • CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required.
  • The ability to work in a typical warehouse or retail environment, which may include dust, fluctuating temperatures, and extended time frames of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
