Job Description:

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a skilled and compassionate Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team for a 16-week assignment in a psychiatric setting. As a travel nurse with Wellspring, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care: As a travel nurse, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams: You'll work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training: We offer ongoing education and training programs to help you stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and technologies in psychiatric nursing.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure: You must be a licensed RN with current licensure in the state where the assignment is located.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing: You must have at least 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing, with a focus on working with adult or geriatric populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: You must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
