Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cost analyses, maintaining accurate cost accounting records, and ensuring effective cost control measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Provide detailed reports on cost variances and analyze reasons for deviations.
  • Assist management in making cost-related decisions by providing accurate and timely financial data.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • ERP experience, SAP preferred.
  • Intermediate or above User of Excel and MS Office programs.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $61,419.00 - $92,129.00 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, Smiths Detection offers comprehensive benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
