Respiratory Care Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Education Coordinator to join our team at Children's Mercy Kansas City. As a key member of our Respiratory Care department, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing educational resources to our Respiratory Therapists, multidisciplinary team, and patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational plans for respiratory care orientees in collaboration with the Respiratory Care Manager/Director, Supervisors, and preceptors.
- Participate in Quality/Performance Improvement and Clinical Research activities.
- Serve as a clinical resource for the educational needs of the Respiratory Care staff.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in respiratory care.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist in MO and KS.
