POSITION OVERVIEW
The Janitorial & Clean Room Technician plays a crucial role in executing routine and specialized cleaning and sanitization tasks within our biopharmaceutical manufacturing zones, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices ("GMP") and following established Standard Operating Procedures ("SOP"). This position also encompasses maintaining cleanliness and order in general office spaces, break rooms, and restrooms.
This is a full-time position requiring an onsite presence during evening and night shifts at our manufacturing facility.
- Shift: Monday through Thursday - 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm; Friday - 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm.
- Compensation: $25-$28 (based on experience) plus intermittent overtime.
- Incentives: Discretionary quarterly bonus of up to $500 based on attendance and performance.
- Paid Time Off: 15 vacation days, 48 hours of sick leave, 3 personal days, 2 floating holidays, and 14 paid holidays annually.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the facility is maintained in accordance with SOP and GMP standards, remaining inspection-ready at all times.
- Complete daily cleaning tasks punctually to meet operational startup deadlines.
- Perform cleaning duties in areas requiring cleanroom gowning.
- Maintain and document daily sanitation activities.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked.
- Digitally archive cleaning logs in the designated online department file.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, including internal SOPs, GMP, Health and Safety, and employment laws.
- Complete all mandatory training related to GMP, Quality, and Compliance within specified timeframes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Ability to perform physical tasks nightly, including sweeping, mopping, surface cleaning, and waste disposal in various environments.
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to stand, stretch, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this collaborative role.
- Proficient in following Standard Operating Procedures and providing verbal explanations of cleaning protocols when necessary.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with GMP compliance standards is advantageous.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Required:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a janitorial or similar role.
Preferred:
- Experience in a regulated environment requiring gowning is highly desirable.
