Manufacturing Engineering Internship Opportunity

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Chaska, MN. As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on robust and challenging project work, engage with Executive and Senior leadership, and gain exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support manufacturing operations by determining optimal manufacturing methods and processes for producing company products.
  • Solve technical issues by identifying root cause and implementing short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Supplier Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to develop manufacturing process solutions that improve product quality, ensure consistent and timely delivery to customers, and reduce cost.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, biomedical, chemical, industrial, manufacturing, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience with problem solving and critical thinking.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in 3D Printing or Engineering Design.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
