Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Modeling: Teach and model exploration and appropriate use of library materials to young students during scheduled class visits to the library.
- Fostering Relationships: Foster positive relationships with and between students and collaborate with colleagues to uphold clear expectations for student behavior.
- Creating a Vibrant Space: Create and maintain a vibrant, visually appealing physical space for discovery and use of resources by students.
- Programming and Events: Under the direction of the Lower and Middle School Librarian and in collaboration with the Lower School Principal and team, provide library programming such as readings and activities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Admissions team and others who use the library space for events and proactively foster communication between K-2 faculty and the library and Lower School teams.
Salary Range: $25-27 per hour depending on experience.
