Job Overview

This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing our organization's information security strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations such as HIPAA, FedRamp, and PCI. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of security awareness and excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational security practices, including training and awareness programs, and monitor internal control systems to maintain appropriate access levels and security clearances.
  • Customer and Supplier Assurance: Implement supplier security governance frameworks, conduct security assessments and audits, and collaborate with suppliers to address identified security gaps and ensure effective security controls.
Requirements
  • CISM, CRISC, COBIT, CISSP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in security governance, risk assessment, compliance, and audit; operations/administrations experience in various security technology (e.g., SIEM, AV, EDR, PAM).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in performing enterprise risk assessments, with a proven track record in planning, coordinating, and executing these assessments based on recognized standards and requirements.
  • Familiarity with current security technologies and overall security threat landscape, and strategy to overcome common challenges in information security implementation and operation.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and database applications.
  • Possess critical thinking, complex problem-solving skills, and a strong risk and control mindset.
  • Must be a self-starter and team player with strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
