Job Summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist Hospitalist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will provide exceptional clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, covering Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and emergencies. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the highest quality patient care and contributing to our mission of improving health and well-being in North Carolina and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to patients in the inpatient setting, including Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and emergencies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Teach medical students, OB-GYN residents, and fellows in sub-specialty training
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of a 4-year ACGME-approved residency in OB-GYN
  • Strong clinical competence and independent practice
  • Experience in an academic medical center preferred
