Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Civil Project Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects, coordinating and managing project tasks, and working with clients to define and document project requirements.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including roads, water systems, buildings, transportation, and roadways. You will also have the chance to collaborate with other professionals, including engineers, surveyors, and planners, to deliver high-quality projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop civil engineering projects using Autodesk Civil 3D and hydrologic calculations
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Work with clients to define and document project requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status
  • Collaborate with other professionals to deliver high-quality projects
  • Assist with preparing final construction bid documents and monthly billing for work completed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
  • EIT (engineer in training) certification or in process of preparing for the FE exam (preferred)
  • Internships that included engineering design work and related tasks (preferred)
  • Proficiency in engineering design software, including Civil 3D
  • Proven skill in learning design software
  • Ability to learn to work with clients to define and document requirements, address technical concerns, and provide project status
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
