Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our team at UW Hospital and Clinics. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patients through our hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to register and admit patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and identify and collect patient financial obligations. You will also be responsible for promoting a positive patient and family experience, exhibiting empathy, engaging in compassionate collections, and demonstrating strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage in compassionate collections

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent required
* Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field preferred
* 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field required
* 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial, or insurance-related field preferred
