Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Centreville, VA area for the 2023/2024 school year.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide direct therapy services to students with various needs, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' occupational therapy needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' occupational therapy needs
  • Recommend and implement accommodations and modifications to support students' participation and success in the classroom
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' Individualized Education Programs
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Virginia
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential
