Soliant is working with an excellent school district near Centreville, VA that is looking for an experienced, Occupational Therapist. The school is eager to find an OT as soon as possible to provide the best services to students in need for the duration of the 2022-23 school year. Responsibilities:

  • Treat students physical impairments, functional limitations, disabilities and/or changes in physical function
  • Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments for each student within caseload
  • Provides interventions and therapeutic treatments that align with the IEP; keeping IEP up to date with student progress and plan of actions
  • Educate student, family members, and other care givers about the individualized treatment plan created for the student and how it applies in each environment
  • Must work well independently, communicate professionally, maintain a good working relationship with the administrative team, and interdisciplinary therapist
  • Demonstrate flexibility to ensure student needs are being met
  • Ensure documentation is completed in a thorough, accurate and timely manner. Documentation is to be done in accordance with state guidelines and company policy

Education Requirements:

  • Masters Level Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy Required
  • Active, Virginia Occupational Therapist License Required

Experience:

  • Pediatrics and/or Schools Experience (Required)
