Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our behavioral support team, you will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by the BCBAs, providing direct support to students with behavioral challenges.
  • Teach new skills and reinforce positive behaviors, promoting a supportive and structured learning environment.
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members regarding progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of behavior intervention strategies.
Requirements
  • Current RBT certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children with behavioral disorders or special needs is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students' growth and development.
