Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Control Panel Builder to join our team at Universal Feed and Machine. As a Control Panel Builder, you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical components into control panels for industrial machines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling complex wiring layouts on electric units per schematics and specifications
  • Setting up testing systems
  • Preparing equipment/panels for shipment
  • Testing panel functionality, including attaching mains voltage and applying power (up to 575V)
  • Using the Human-Machine Interface to activate various functions
  • Operating hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and other electrical tools as necessary
  • Communicating problems and quality control issues to supervisors and co-workers
  • Anticipating material and resource needs for upcoming projects
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and ship products
