As a LOB Risk Oversight Manager within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security division, you will be part of a dynamic team. This role requires a strong foundation in technology, coupled with risk management expertise, as you collaborate across various lines of defense, business leaders, and internal partners.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage your knowledge in:

• Comprehensive data technology risk management, including governance and controls within a large financial institution or management consultancy.

• Implementing a risk framework to identify, assess, mitigate, monitor, and report on technology risks.

• A solid technical understanding of cloud technologies, security protocols, data warehouses, data centers, and data privacy.

• Conducting thorough risk assessments, evaluating control quality, identifying gaps, and monitoring response and performance metrics.

• Managing issues effectively.

• Demonstrating strong critical thinking abilities.

• Engaging with regulators as needed.

• Leading complex discussions across technology and business sectors with subject matter experts to drive clear and documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the establishment and execution of risk strategies and programs. May supervise managers and act as a senior advocate for the risk management program.
  • Develop and enhance line of business risk management strategies and programs to support business objectives while adhering to regulatory expectations.
  • Ensure timely and effective execution of the risk management program across various business lines.
  • Provide risk expertise in collaboration with business units and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitor changes in internal and external factors to identify emerging risks.
  • Manage and develop employees, fostering internal capabilities. May oversee individual contributors and/or managers.
