Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, suture removal, and phlebotomy
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Utilize electronic health record systems like eClinicalWorks and Cerner for documentation
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience in home community care, pediatrics, and hospital medicine preferred
- Proficiency in medical procedures such as gastric lavage, suturing, and phlebotomy
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks and Cerner systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is advantageous
