Licensed Practical Nurse

About the JobThe LPN works closely with a concierge physician to deliver high-quality healthcare services to corporate clients. This is a highly visible position, requiring the nurse to be a resource for patients and meet satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support the physician in clinical and administrative functions
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and report findings to the physician
- Record patient assessments into an Electronic Medical Record
- Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests, and work with contracted labs for additional tests
- Assist with medical procedures
- Utilize diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment
- Maintain exam rooms, ensuring they are clean, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Maintain patient flow, adhering to scheduling and incoming/outgoing calls
- Coordinate specialist visits, referrals, and other care outside of the clinic
- Retrieve messages and respond to calls from patients, pharmacies, and other medical offices as delegated by the physician
- Fulfill medical record requests and abstraction
- Ensure a positive and supportive experience for each patient
High school diploma required, plus graduation from a formal training program and 2+ years' experience as an LPN, preferably in primary care. Current BLS certification and nursing license to practice in the state for which you are applying.
