Job Title: Academic Advisor - International Student Services

Pima Community College is seeking a highly skilled Academic Advisor to join our International Student Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert guidance and support to international students, ensuring their academic success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise international students on academic policies, procedures, and processes, including admissions, assessment, and registration.
  • Serve as the Designated School Official (DSO) and/or Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), maintaining the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and related certification requirements.
  • Coordinate SEVIS-related work and prepare reports to ensure compliance with U.S. immigration laws.
  • Collaborate with academic and enrollment advisors to provide and improve services to international students.
  • Resolve international student complaints and concerns, and respond to general inquiries and requests.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, International Relations, or related field of study.
  • One to Three years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three to five years of related experience.
  • Ellucian Banner ERP experience.
