Building Repair Technician I

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the essential upkeep and repair of our facilities and grounds.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will include maintaining the landscape by mowing lawns, removing weeds from flower beds, trimming trees, and ensuring that all waste is collected across the facility.
You will also be tasked with cleaning, welding, and repairing containers as necessary.
It is crucial to keep all equipment used for landscaping in optimal condition.
Conducting preventive maintenance on batteries and maintaining detailed records for audits will be part of your duties.
Assisting with relocations within the facility, including disassembling and assembling cubicles, movable partitions, and office furniture, will also be required.
General maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, painting, and performing basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, will be assigned as needed.
Additionally, you will provide preventive maintenance for company vehicles.
Maintaining safety standards while performing tasks and identifying unsafe practices will be a priority.
Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Proficient understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication.
Preferred:
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
