About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound exams with precision and accuracy, ensuring technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
  • Position patients and equipment to produce optimal recordings.
  • Process and transmit images to our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Requirements
  • RDMS (ARDMS) or R (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region, obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1, with graduation within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous experience in ultrasound technology is preferred.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate.
  • Proficient computer skills.
