Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of designated areas following departmental protocols.
  • Utilize cleaning agents appropriately in accordance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Understand and implement procedures for the safe disposal of hazardous waste and refuse.
  • Manage and address emergency spills according to departmental guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Operate and care for assigned cleaning equipment as per established guidelines.
  • Ensure that work and storage areas are maintained in a safe manner following organizational policies.
  • Utilize cleaning supplies efficiently and responsibly.
  • Report any equipment or facility issues promptly and appropriately.
Shift Information:
  • Available shifts include:
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM
  • Full-time positions with comprehensive benefits
  • Availability required for some weekends and holidays
Minimum Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to read color-coded labels and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule to accommodate departmental needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in professional housekeeping.
Physical Demands:
Includes carrying, lifting, pushing/pulling, visual acuity, verbal communication, squatting/kneeling, standing, and walking.
