Armed Security Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team at Afognak Native Corporation. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients, including responding to calls/incidents, securing/safeguarding crime scenes, and performing crowd control as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards crime scenes, perform crowd control as required, performs personnel, vehicular and building facility checks, First Aid and CPR as required, and completes all required reports, forms, and other documentation IAW established procedures.
- Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches.
- Staffs post continuously and provide access control; deters/reports unauthorized personnel or vehicular entry, directs traffic and provides information to visitors, and screens packages.
- Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapon, maintains uniform and grooming standards IAW company policies, operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner.
- Conducts flag protocols.
- Safeguards all assets, provide motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment.
- Conducts any other assignments in accordance with established SOP's.
- Familiar with Security systems including CCTV and mobile security applications.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid security license and certification required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Rate: $17.50 to $20.50 hourly
