Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
- Generate packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restriction notifications using computer systems.
- Conduct inspections of staging, accumulation, and storage areas to ensure compliance with housekeeping procedures.
- Examine storage areas and containers for leaks or spills.
- Verify compliance of containers with labeling regulations.
- Collect, categorize, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Execute jobs at client locations, including those of Fortune 500 companies.
- Oversee the final preparation and approval of all projects prior to shipment, ensuring adherence to OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies.
- Conduct projects in accordance with site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans.
- Understand client-specific disposal restrictions and special packaging requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain a CDL Class B as required by the position.
- Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination, as required by the position.
- Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, including facial hair standards for positions requiring respirators.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework in Chemistry or Natural Science.
- Previous experience in Environmental Services.
