Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team at ITW Automotive. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all shipping functions and distributions of goods and services, ensuring accurate and timely shipments.
Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Operations: Manage the daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Leadership and Coaching: Demonstrate hands-on leadership and coaching abilities, empowering and motivating team members to achieve high performance standards.
- Operational Procedures: Establish and maintain operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and dispositioning of materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding shipment and receipt of product.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the scheduling of receiving times, assign truckers doors, assign receiving numbers, and prepare blind tally.
- Quality Control: Check outbound/inbound orders for accuracy and proper signatures, and address quality issues with the QC Supervisor prior to shipping.
- Physical Demands: Ensure the physical demands of the job are met, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Shipping Supervisor in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Skills: Excellent organization and interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, intermediate computer skills in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook, and experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
- MRP Systems: Experience with MRP systems, preferably Trans4M.
- Automotive Experience: 2+ years of automotive experience.
