About the Position

We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to join our team at QuidelOrtho, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing process.

The Job Requirements

This is a full-time position, onsite at our Rochester, NY office, with a morning shift, Monday-Friday. You will be responsible for:

  • Participating in quality events, including nonconformances, product dispositions, and root cause investigations.
  • Developing and implementing corrective actions to prevent future quality issues.
  • Collaborating with operations, product support, and engineering to resolve quality-related problems.
  • Providing coaching, training, and technical guidance to business partners on quality-related matters.
Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Quality in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (Diagnostics, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Consumer).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office tools experience for communications, reporting, and data analysis.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and paid Holidays.
