The Travel Nurse RN role at MUSC Health Charleston focuses on providing exceptional care in the Interventional Radiology department. This position is designed for skilled professionals ready to engage in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Certification Requirements- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Radiation Badge: Mandatory, provided by the agency
- Role: Registered Nurse in Interventional Radiology
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Daily Visits: Approximately 30
- Work Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 18:00 with rotating days off
- Weekend Requirements: None, except for call rotation
- On-call Duties: Rotating call, averaging 1 weekday call every other week and 2 weekend shifts per 3-month contract
- Floating: May be required to float to different facilities within the downtown and West Ashley area
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
- First-time Travelers: Accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks
- Facility Type: Teaching Hospital
- Accreditations: Magnet, Teaching, Level 1 Trauma
- Total Staffed Beds: 865
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue, provided
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: $20 one-time payment for a parking pass, applicable only during nights and weekends
- Emergency Response: Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Radiation Badge: Must be provided by the agency
- Shifts: 4 days per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 18:00
- On-call Requirements: Rotating call schedule
- Block Schedule: Open to consideration with prior approval
- Radius Rule: 60 miles; locals accepted at a reduced rate
- Pending License: SC RN or compact state license required at the start
- RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
