About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pediatric intensive care and be able to work independently in a team environment. You will be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs and medical equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of South Carolina
  • At least 1 year of experience in pediatric intensive care
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
