Key Responsibilities- Oversee and guide packaging line personnel to meet daily production targets.
- Supervise the packaging of poultry products, ensuring compliance with internal and USDA standards.
- Train and evaluate hourly employees, implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Maintain a safe working environment, conducting safety training and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Provide prompt feedback to employees regarding productivity, quality, safety, downtime, and regulatory matters.
- Manage production lines to meet company yield goals.
- Assist in enhancing quality and food safety to comply with company standards and USDA regulations.
- Participate in required training sessions, including Quality Control and Human Resources.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Management or equivalent experience, preferably in the agricultural sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Solid mathematical skills for performing calculations related to quality, productivity, timecards, and reports.
- Ability to assess employees fairly and objectively, with strong human resources capabilities.
- Flexibility to adjust production to meet varying product mix demands.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
