Clinical Research Nurse Opportunity in Sacramento

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the development of research studies and support the research team.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the development of research studies by reviewing protocols, ensuring informed consent compliance, and creating essential study tools for clinical trial execution.
  • Offer nursing expertise to support the research team during study planning and implementation.
  • Educate the interdisciplinary team on study requirements to facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Identify and procure necessary equipment and supplies in accordance with trial specifications.
  • Oversee the informed consent/assent process with research participants from the outset and throughout the study.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the trial protocol, ICH/GCP guidelines, and FDA regulations.
  • Administer treatment interventions as specified in the study.
  • Collect various specimens for both clinical and research purposes.
  • Coordinate specimen processing and shipment as outlined in the study protocol or lab manual(s).
  • Obtain medical histories and conduct safety assessments while promptly reporting potential adverse events.
  • Accurately record research data in approved source documents and within study-specific databases.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in site monitoring visits and audits.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure consistent and compliant study procedures.

Key Requirements:

  • Active RN License in the state of AZ.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2+ Years of experience working in Cardiovascular/Cardiology.

  • A competitive salary range of $91K-$133K per annum, depending on background and years of experience.
  • A contracted probationary period of approximately 6 months (1,040 hours) leading to direct hire/permanent position.
