Senior Litigation Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Counsel to join our team as an Intellectual Property Specialist. This is a key role within our litigation division, responsible for handling a broad spectrum of complex cases with a particular emphasis on defending and enforcing intellectual property rights.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the company in federal and state court proceedings on various general litigation matters, with a focus on intellectual property and First Amendment law.
- Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies related to potential litigation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform thorough legal research, draft/revise briefs, motions, and other critical legal documents to support business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with external counsel to manage complex litigation issues, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to minimize legal risks, promoting a culture of compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in general litigation, with a strong background in IP litigation and knowledge of First Amendment law.
- Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, with an excellent academic record.
- Membership in good standing with the California Bar, or eligibility to register as In-House Counsel in California.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving complex litigation cases, with a keen eye for detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with the agility to respond to high-pressure situations and adapt to changing priorities.
- Prior experience within the entertainment or media industry, with a deep understanding of the sector's complexities and nuances.
- Experience with a variety of litigation types, including intellectual property, First Amendment, and commercial disputes, with a focus on creative problem-solving.
- Litigation experience in both federal and state courts, with expertise in managing cross-border disputes and international collaborations.
The estimated salary range for this role is $222,500-$310,000 annually, based on education, skills, experience, and location. FOX offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
