Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Our Registered Nurses elevate the standard of care by delivering clinical expertise and compassionate service. The Medical Surgical Unit caters to adult patients with a range of medical, surgical, cardiac, or neurological conditions. The diverse nature of Med Surg offers opportunities for professional growth throughout your career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status, adhering to care standards and disease-specific protocols.

- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to optimize health outcomes and utilize resources effectively.

- Provide direct nursing care and oversee non-licensed nursing personnel within the RN's scope of practice and established policies.

- Offer education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, condition, and circumstances, integrating patient and family teaching into nursing practice.

Required Qualifications:

- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with either an ADN or BSN degree.

- Active registered nurse license in the state(s) of practice or an active compact license, in compliance with legal regulations.

- BLS certification required upon hire.
