Role Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will elevate the standard of care by delivering clinical expertise and compassionate service. The Medical Surgical Unit caters to adult patients with diverse medical, surgical, cardiac, or neurological conditions, providing a rich environment for professional growth.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status, adhering to care standards and protocols.
  • Developing, implementing, and assessing patient care plans to optimize health outcomes and resource utilization.
  • Delivering direct nursing care and supervising non-licensed staff in accordance with established policies.
  • Providing education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, and condition, integrating family teaching into nursing practice.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an ADN or BSN degree.
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state of practice or possession of an active compact license.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
