We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Truck Loader/Unloader to join our team at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading glass products from various sources, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload glass products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
- Transport materials, including glass, from one position/location to another to expedite the production process.
- Perform quality inspections, operate equipment, and manually maneuver equipment as needed.
- Rotate job functions on a regular basis to maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisors immediately of any issues.
- Utilize a tape measure to ensure products meet specifications.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
- Availability to work in all areas of production and be flexible with start/end times as needed.
- One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility is preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75lbs regularly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels.
