About the Role:

The Geospatial Intelligence team is at the forefront of integrating and processing national, tactical, and commercial intelligence within a cohesive architecture. Our mission is to enhance intelligence production and situational awareness for national security, targeting, command and control, and humanitarian efforts. We specialize in analyzing mission workflows for sensor platforms, designing advanced computing architectures, and providing integrated intelligence analysis from seabed to space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support multi-cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) initiatives.
  • Leverage cloud technologies and in-house data center capabilities to develop HPC and AI/ML pipelines for geospatial information processing.
  • Integrate geospatial data sources into IT infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with teams to innovate solutions with minimal requirements.
  • Prototype geospatial capabilities and formulate recommendations for integrated solutions to enhance MITRE's contributions to our sponsors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with current SCI.
  • Strong foundation in Systems Engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with GEOINT products, analytics, and satellite systems.
  • Experience with digital engineering and model-based systems engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate across diverse teams on large projects.
  • Desire to learn and engage in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills.
  • This position requires an on-site presence of 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NGA and its mission.
  • Understanding of Intelligence Community Agencies and systems.
  • Ability to engage with high-level government sponsors.
  • Experience in creating test plans and assessing pilot initiatives.
  • Knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
