Job Title: Registered Nurse

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness of care and/or interventions.
  • Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide teaching and educational material as appropriate.
  • Validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required for SNF care settings.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or rehab experience required for rehab care settings.
  • Minimum one year current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience required for ED settings.
Education and Certifications:
  • ONS Chemo/Bio course complete within 1 year of employment if employed on units inpatient and/or outpatient where chemo is administered.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) certifications, such as ACLS, PALS, and NRP, may be required depending on the unit and patient population.
