Job Summary:

At Jaquith Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality machined parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program CNC machines by interpreting blueprints, engineering plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce machined parts.
  • Verify settings and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production and communication.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of CNC experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate an overhead crane and possess basic math skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift certification and participation in training events required.
Equipment and Software:
  • Basic personal computer skills, including email and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including CNC machines, mills, lathes, and power tools.
Work Environment:

This role requires working in a production area with moderate lifting, close mental and visual attention, and exposure to seasonal temperatures and occupational hazards. Safety equipment, including PPE, will be provided as needed.
